BARNA is a small organisation run by a team of dedicated professionals. We always need more help in developing our services, and attracting new members.
If you would like to get involved, there are many ways in which you can help out. Everyone’s talents are precious and welcome. Here are some of the ways you can help us:
Learning and Teaching Resources Reviewer. You could volunteer to review educational material and test it out in your area of practice. Or, if you want to create more education resources and write them yourself, we would certainly like to hear from you.
Acting as Local Contact : you could help us by feeding back to us your local knowledge as follows:
listing local hospitals, PACU and anaesthetic units [with contact numbers]
listing contacts [anaesthetists, nurses] who may be keen to speak at conference/study days.
helping us with conference planning by providing us with local information about venues, travel connections, accommodation.
listing any local innovative practice that may feature in one of our events
recruiting more local members
arranging local meetings with BARNA’s help
If you have skills in IT systems [for example databasing] or general administration we would certainly use your skills. Furthermore, illustration and artistic skills are always welcome.
Just a few suggestions here but there are many more.
