Pentland Medical SurveyOur sponsor, Pentland Medical requests that you kindly help with this survey :
SURVEY FOR ANAESTHETIC AND PACU PRACTITIONERS
Our project’s aim is to provide evidence that current practices in airway securement are unsafe and are leading to patient harm, and that a better, licenced and regulated solution is needed. Tapes and ties are still the mainstay for securing an airway in operating theatres and these methods are unlicenced with varying adhesive capabilities which could cause inadequate safety to the patient. With this evidence we hope to influence nationally recognised bodies to establish clear guidelines and recommendations to support safer patient outcomes through education and learning. We would like to highlight the importance of prioritising patient safety over financial constraints. Best wishes, the BARNA Team
