CPOC was formed by the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2019 as a cross-organisational initiative dedicated to the promotion, advancement and development of perioperative care for the benefits of patients at all stages of their surgical journey.
CPOC is a partnership between patients and the public, and other professional perioperative stakeholders including Medical Royal Colleges, NHS England and equivalent bodies responsible for healthcare in the UK.
