BARNA Conference 6th June 2008. City Hall, London The British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association has always prided itself on being the main organisation for all practitioners working within the anaesthetic and recovery speciality. We are keen to provide up to date clinical aspects at conference, and also to provide information on current issues affecting the anaesthetic and recovery area. We are aware of the current financial difficulties facing the NHS and how this affects the workforce, so with that in mind, we have put together an interesting programme whilst keeping the costs as low as we can. Our main priority is to enable you to attend and enjoy the conference together. The BARNA conference is always a friendly affair, and is the perfect arena to network with your colleagues, share your problems and discuss current issues affecting your everyday workplace. We welcome anaesthetic and recovery nurses, ODP's and other allied health professionals with an interest in the perioperative environment. The AGM is also held at this conference, where this year we are launching the revised BARNA constitution, and welcome our members to partake in this important meeting. This is your association, so we want to hear what you have to say. BARNA recognises the importance of practice in the anaesthetic and recovery environment and the need for clinical excellence through education. We look forward to meeting you at the 2008 Annual BARNA Conference. Manda Dunne, BARNA Chair |
